“ Ill take a regular bar over the old salad bar any day! We came here Sunday around 1130am and it was dead. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a few beers and our food. My husbands meal came with a beer! I got the dry rub ribs which were delicious, with mac cheese. Perfectly cooked, not mushy. The redneck egg rolls were also good. My husband had the hamburger which he said was good. Great looking new restaurant with a new vibe. Well be back. Came back again today. Had the Pick 2 smoked dry rub wings and jalapeno cheddar sausage. Both delicious. Changed out the BBQ beans for green beans which were good. Cole slaw is crunchy with not too much mayo. Got cornbread instead of garlic bread and man that muffin is fire! So moist and you can see the nuggets of corn baked in them. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich which he liked. Then he ordered the giant chocolate chip cookies and these things are huge and thick and hot and delicious. I see a lot more on the menu we want to try so wait til next weekend for my next review LOL The Cuban is delicious also! And they just added BBQ Bowls where you can add your own choices like mac cheese, dirty rice, pulled pork, chicken, Fritos, etc.! ”
“ We ordered Sonnys for pickupcatering, for 48 people adults. We had pulled pork, mac and cheese, and beans, and all of it was fabulous! Catering came with bread and tea, plates, utensils, cups... the folks who helped us order it and then pick it up the day of were super nice and helpful. There was plenty of meat for everyone, and it was tender and flavorful. The sides were hot and tasty as well NOTHING was dried out or overcooked. We always enjoy eating in at Sonnys, and this was our first time ordering out for a party. We will 100 do this again, and highly recommend them if a large party or gathering is in the works! Enjoy! ”
